South Africans Paul Raath, CPA, MBA, and his wife Kim Raath, PhD, built their careers in the United States after moving abroad to study there, gaining over 25 years of experience across Big Four accounting, investment banking, and tech entrepreneurship. Their journey led to the founding of Ledgerment, a modern accounting firm designed to bring precision, strategy, and innovation to growing U.S. small businesses.
As Ledgerment grew, they saw firsthand the shortage of skilled accounting professionals in the U.S. and immediately thought of home. South Africa is full of world-class accountants with global potential, and PrimeShore was born to bridge that gap. Today, PrimeShore connects talented South African professionals with leading U.S. firms, creating opportunities for global work and sustainable career growth without leaving home.
